Camera calibration after a new windshield

Using your insurance in Lake Nona
Under Florida Statute § 627.7288, the deductible on comprehensive coverage doesn't apply to windshield damage, so your insurer pays for the windshield.
Door, back, quarter and sunroof glass take your normal deductible. We also give you the cash price so you can choose what costs less.
You choose the glass shop, not your insurer. Florida law bans shops from offering gifts or cash for a glass claim, and we never do.
What to have ready
- Your insurance company and policy number.
- The date the damage happened.
- Your vehicle's year, make and model, or the VIN.

Why windshields crack around Lake Nona
Lake Nona keeps building, and its roads carry a lot of construction traffic. These are the causes we see most on local jobs.
SR 417 and SR 528
Fast traffic on the GreeneWay and the Beachline toward the airport throws up gravel and debris that chip windshields.
New construction
New neighborhoods and buildings along Narcoossee Road, Boggy Creek Road and Lake Nona Boulevard bring dump trucks and loose gravel.
Heat and A/C
A hot windshield hit with cold A/C can turn a small chip into a long crack in a single day.
Summer storms
Afternoon storms bring hail, flying debris and falling branches that break windshields and back glass.
Car windows, back glass and chip repair
Besides windshields, we replace door glass, back glass with defroster lines and quarter glass in Lake Nona, and repair power window motors and regulators. See car window replacement.
Small chip instead of a crack? It can often be repaired without replacing the windshield. See windshield chip repair.
